Safety Awards Conferred on Valdes Engineering Company

On Monday, April 28, 2008 at the annual awards dinner of the Three Rivers Manufacturers’ Association (TRMA), Valdes Engineering Company received two prestigious safety awards. The first was the “Gold” Award for having a 25% or greater reduction in OSHA recordable rate compared to the previous 3-year company average and the second was the “Meritorious” Award for having no OSHA recordable injuries in 2007.

Valdes Engineering Company is a member of TRMA and one of the 700 or so contractor companies serving clients such as CITGO Petroleum, ExxonMobil, Corn Products, Aux Sable Liquid Products, Flint Hills Resources, Midwest Generation, and Forbo among many others. Only 33 of the 700 active contractor companies received awards. Since awards such as these factor the safety performance of field and office personnel equally, these awards are indicative of the outstanding safety performance of all Valdes employees. Congratulations, everyone!
