VEC Highlighted Services at the 11th Annual Electric Power Show

Valdes Engineering Company participated in the 11th Annual Electric Power Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL May 12-14, 2009. This is the world’s most comprehensive conference for the Power Generation Industry and brings visitors from all over the region interested in learning about the latest technologies and in networking with industry leaders.

This was an excellent opportunity to showcase VEC capabilities and expertise with Fossil Power Generation and Electric Transmission and distribution projects. VEC featured our Industrial Scanning capabilities at the show. This laser surveying technique allows us to map and model facilities, systems, structures, piping, tanks, equipment, etc. that are not easily accessible due to congestion, heights or a variety of other reasons.

We are able to leverage considerable experience with power generation to assist our clients with the unique challenges associated with the maintenance, repair, upgrade and retrofit of operating power plants. VEC has the capabilities and resources to execute a wide range, size and complexity of capital projects. Our work processes and attention to detail allow us to provide high quality engineering deliverables, properly tailored to the client’s specifications.
