VEC rolls out new Mentoring Program

John Cardone, Dan Mueller and Gwen Allar rolled out the new Mentoring Program at meetings at the Lombard office on April 24, 2008, and in Whiting, IN on Monday, April 28, 2008.

The Mentoring Program has paired each employee below the Senior level with two mentors, a Technical Mentor and a Business Mentor.

The Technical Mentor is a seasoned professional with experience in the discipline of the Mentee. The Mentor will not be involved in the day-to-day projects but will offer advice and support to the Mentee as they grow in their careers.

The Business Mentor will offer the Mentee an avenue to address business questions that are not necessarily technical. The Business Mentor will support the Mentee with questions regarding client relationships and growth within our industry.

For some, these relationships will be for the purpose to move a Mentee to the next level. For others, these will be life-long relationships. For all, we hope that these relationships will be rewarding experiences for the both the Mentor and the Mentee.
